Porcelain is the symbol of fame and wealth. However, it used to be collected and admired by the wealthy. Due to its fragile characteristics, it can’t be recycled so they will be disposed because it easily cracks when producing. Bamboo weaving, one of the oldest traditional techniques of Taiwanese culture, usually used to produce a variety of household goods in farmer's living environment varies from the delicate porcelain. It not only represents the raw and rustic atmosphere of the farmer’s spirit, but also owns the features of toughness and durability. With these two contrasting materials, the traditional bamboo weaving technique combined with the broken vases transforms into new objects, the broken vases are repaired in a new way and each of them is unique and delicate.
