等待 | Waiting

Material:Thin bamboo strips,wood, rattan
Staring at the grey starry ocean, clouds and mist in the mountain are still silent. We’ve said goodbye to our beloved and cherished the past so much; thus we should clearly comprehend when it goes wrong when we were in love. Calling of the lonesome bird stirs my heart; while I’m drunk in the dippy rain. No matter it is rain or tears on the cheek, it would just be wiped away by the cold wind. What I can do is merely to wait for the full moon and appearance of the rainbow.
It is derived from the early large fishing net used by fishers. Thin bamboo strips are arranged with order and twisted at the 2/3 point. The artist uses rattan cores wrapped with its skin to wind the vase, in order to present elegant poses of females.
